About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerospace Business Development Manager to join our team at KF Aerospace. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and capturing new opportunities in the aerospace and defense sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the aerospace and defense sector, including government and commercial contracts.
  • Capture Management: Lead the capture process for new business opportunities, including developing win strategies, managing proposal teams, and negotiating contracts.
  • Government Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies and other stakeholders to promote KF Aerospace's capabilities and interests.
  • Contract Management: Manage the negotiation and administration of contracts with government and commercial customers.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to develop and execute business development strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in business administration or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in business development, capture management, or a related field in the aerospace and defense sector.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of the aerospace and defense industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Canadian security clearance, CGP, and ITAR clearance.
