Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our Commercial Construction team in Canada. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling Sika's concrete repair and protection products, as well as providing technical advice to customers and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with clients and distributors to present our products and provide technical advice on the products to be used according to the work to be done.
  • Assist the Regional Sales Manager or the Territory Manager in contract reviews with distributors and clients.
  • Develop and establish new clientele increasing market share and growth.
  • Analyze the competition and be prepared to defend our sales position.
  • Ensure that the client is directed to Customer Service to place an order.
  • Perform any other related tasks while adhering to Sika Canada Inc.'s quality assurance and environmental management procedures.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • At least two years prior sales experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to thrive both independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engaged customer relationships and effectively implement strategic concepts.
  • Excellent time and territory management skills.
  • Persuasive, sales driven, customer focused and a team player.
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite and smartphones.
  • Must maintain a professional business appearance in accordance with Sika dress policy at all times.
  • Career advancement may require domestic and/or global mobility.
