Job Title: Insulation Specialist

Gauthier Drywall Inc is seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining insulation in various construction settings.

Responsibilities:
  • Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools.
  • Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods.
  • Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs.
  • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials.
  • Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Driver's License.
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
  • Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
Work Environment:

The Insulation Specialist will work in a noisy, dusty, and hot environment with confined spaces. The work setting will be in construction, on-site customer service, installation, and residential settings.

Physical Demands:
  • Physically demanding.
  • Handling heavy loads.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Manual dexterity.
Language:

English.

Work Hours:

40 hours per week.
