Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wealth and Tax Planning Consultant to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will be responsible for providing specialized wealth planning advice and solutions to High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive wealth plans tailored to the unique needs of HNW/UHNW clients.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Investment Counsellors, and other planning professionals to provide clients with expert advice and solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure clients receive the highest level of service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their goals and objectives to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Contribute to the growth and retention of HNW/UHNW client assets through specialized planning solutions.
  • Participate in goals-based discovery processes and ensure effective knowledge management within the business.
  • Apply consultative sales and wealth planning principles, practices, and techniques in client interactions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in area(s) of specialized planning, including regulations and policies.
  • Develop and maintain internal and external networks and referral sources to ensure ongoing growth of the business.
Requirements
  • Typically between 5-9 years of relevant experience and a University degree in a relevant field of study.
  • Post-graduate degree is desirable.
  • Relevant professional designation is considered an asset.
  • Experience dealing with HNW/UHNW clients.
  • Proven track record in developing and growing a profitable financial or related client services business.
  • Extensive knowledge and technical proficiency related to wealth planning strategies, issues, and trends.
  • Broad knowledge of financial institutions, services, and products.
  • Broad knowledge of investment management principles, economics, and financial markets.
  • Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge.
What We Offer

BMO offers a competitive salary range of $78,400.00 - $145,600.00, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, accident and life insurance, and retirement savings plans.
