Restaurant Manager Job Description

Mahtay Cafe is seeking a skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Plan and organize daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Staff Supervision: Recruit, train, and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Financial Management: Balance cash, complete balance sheets, and manage inventory to maintain profitability.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to provincial/territorial liquor legislation and health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week.
