Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team at 2588729 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our financial operations department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to team members on financial policies and procedures.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit accurate financial reports to management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of financial equipment and systems, including maintenance and repair as needed.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work-related problems, provide technical guidance, and recommend measures to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Financial Transactions: Verify the accuracy of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Work Coordination: Coordinate and assign tasks to team members, reviewing their work to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.
  • Supply Chain Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support financial operations.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on financial equipment and systems.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and achieve business objectives.
  • Work Scheduling and Procedures: Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient financial operations.
Requirements
  • Supervisory Experience: 3-4 years of supervisory experience in a financial operations environment.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a large caseload.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent written communication, organized, and reliable.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
