About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Professional to join our team at Y International Recruiting & Immigration Services Inc. as a Bookkeeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, and administer benefits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and QuickBooks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a hybrid work arrangement. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
