**Job Summary**

Concordia Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Clerk 3 in our Health Information Services department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including patient pre-registration, patient registration, bed control, health record culling, death processing, and chart management.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Accurately and efficiently process patient registrations, pre-registrations, and bed assignments.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date health records, including chart assembly and report generation.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in our electronic health record system.

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient registration or health information services role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
