Job Overview:

This position is for a Finance Supervisor at Peak Support Services. The role is essential in overseeing the financial activities of the organization, ensuring that all operations align with the company's mission to support individuals with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

The Finance Supervisor will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of Peak Support Services. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining compliance with financial regulations and implementing effective internal controls.
  • Preparing and delivering comprehensive financial statements and reports for various stakeholders.
  • Conducting thorough financial analyses to aid in strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborating with external auditors and other relevant parties.
  • Leading special projects and providing ad-hoc financial reporting as necessary.
  • Mentoring and managing the Finance and Administration team.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business management.
  • Experience in financial management and accounting, preferably within the non-profit sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with financial software, including Excel and QuickBooks.

Requirements:

  • Possession of or progress towards a CPA designation is advantageous.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for work-related tasks.
  • Completion of a Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Persons Check.

Compensation and Benefits: The salary will be commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. This is a full-time salaried position, offering benefits such as health care, retirement savings plans, and paid personal time.
