We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hotel Night Auditor to join our team at Best Western Plus Norwester Hotel & Conference Centre.

Job Summary:

The Hotel Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of hotel transactions, resolving guest complaints, and maintaining a clean and organized front desk area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Register arriving guests and assign rooms
  • Resolve complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner
  • Process group arrivals and departures, including taking, canceling, and changing room reservations
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area
  • Exchange foreign currency and process guests' departures, calculating charges and receiving payments
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service and work with minimal supervision
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound judgments
