- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Lived experience supporting a loved one with an addiction and/or mental health concern.
- Ability to work well in a team and seek consultation when necessary.
- Strong communication skills, including conflict management and resolution.
- Ability to tolerate regular twisting and reaching, repetitive hand movements, keyboarding, and telephone handling.
- Post-secondary education in a related or relevant program, such as social work or addiction certification.
- A strong awareness of community resources and recovery models.
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training.
