Key Responsibilities- Route Planning and Execution: Plan and execute routes to ensure timely delivery of goods, while adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition, and perform necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Cargo Handling: Load and unload cargo, and ensure it is properly secured and protected during transport.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and address any issues that may arise.
- Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics operations, including scheduling, routing, and inventory management.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: Will train
- Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, DZ class license
- Skills: Attention to detail, reliability, judgement, ability to work independently and as part of a team
This is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be willing to adapt to changing circumstances.
