Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our stores.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff, including apprentices, sales workers, and design team members.
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they are working efficiently.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage store finances.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure staff are working effectively.
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 35 hours per week.
