Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care and support to clients in their homes. This includes assisting with daily living activities, providing personal care, and promoting a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring
  • Assist with medication management and administration
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Assist with household tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
  • Monitor and report any changes in client condition to the Registered Nurse
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a Personal Support Worker program or equivalent experience
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
