Job Summary

Accoravillage is seeking a highly skilled Remedial Cement Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day field remedial cementing operations on location and at the shop. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills, with a focus on ensuring the safe and efficient execution of cementing jobs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Manage and mentor personnel, equipment, and materials to ensure timely arrival at location.
  • Cementing Job Execution: Execute successful cementing jobs according to design and client specifications, with a focus on understanding rigging in/out procedures.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Ensure efficient handling of day-to-day operations, including critical tasks such as measuring cement density, collecting samples, and utilizing radios on location.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with clients and internal departments, including Sales and Dispatch, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to and enforce company safety policies, ensuring compliance with HSE legislation and regulations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports, including end-of-well, end-of-month, incident, and maintenance reports, as required.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on equipment and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Leadership and Development: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with a focus on developing and mentoring team members to achieve company objectives.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid class 1 (Canada) or class A CDL (U.S.) driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically capable of moving and lifting heavy objects, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability: Be available to work a 15 days on, 6 days off rotational schedule, with the ability to be on call 24/7.
  • Experience: Possess experience as an oil and gas cementing supervisor and in operating pumpers, with a demonstrated ability to direct and motivate team members.
  • Education and Certifications: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, with relevant certifications and training in cementing operations and safety procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Computer Skills: Possess good computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Possess experience in completing reports and documentation, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Customer Service: Possess excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal departments.
  • Leadership and Development: Possess strong leadership skills, with a focus on developing and mentoring team members to achieve company objectives.
