Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team of Professional Solutions underwriters in our Vancouver office. The successful applicant will be responsible for marketing and underwriting our suite of Professional Solutions products, including Professional Liability, Technology Liability, Cyber Liability, Media Liability, and Business office package policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent our Specialty Insurance Solutions team in Vancouver
- Market and source new business opportunities
- Manage and build a portfolio of Specialty Insurance accounts specifically in E&O
- Help ensure profitable growth and retention of the business portfolio through understanding of Trisura's appetite and diligent risk selection and underwriting
- Establish and maintain broker relationships
- Evaluate exposures and determine appropriate terms and conditions of coverage
- Learn new product lines and coverages as they are developed
- Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant industry trends and their impact on products offered
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or post-secondary education in business, marketing, sales, or insurance preferred
