Position Overview:

The role of Payroll Implementation Lead is crucial in steering the Employee Central Payroll deployment within the broader framework of SuccessFactors Employee Central core HR, payroll, and Talent systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation of Employee Central Payroll, ensuring alignment with the project timeline and objectives.
  • Organize and lead workshops to gather business requirements effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal experts to validate and refine business needs.
  • Coordinate with the SAP implementation team to configure the Employee Central platform based on identified payroll requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication with both internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations and updates.
  • Support integration with related Employee Central workstreams, including Core HR, Onboarding, Benefits, Talent, and Compensation.
  • Work alongside the Reporting workstream lead to ensure that all payroll-related reports function correctly with the new system setup.
  • Partner with the Testing Lead to contribute to the overall testing strategy and manage the design and evaluation of the Payroll module.
  • Identify potential risks within the workstream and the overall project, proposing solutions as necessary.
  • Promote and implement best practices in platform and process configuration.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in implementing Employee Central Payroll.
  • Background in payroll systems implementation and ongoing maintenance.
  • Experience with large-scale business process transformations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a track record of delivering impactful presentations.
  • Experience in team leadership, including:
    • Task prioritization and delegation.
    • Encouraging an innovative approach.
    • Leading change initiatives.
    • Exemplifying strong leadership qualities and organizational behaviors.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to build trust with various stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation skills and experience working with diverse cross-functional teams.
  • Effective stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and work independently.
  • Familiarity with relevant Collective Agreements is advantageous.
