Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at The Rec Room Barrie Park Place. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving drinks, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Take and fill drink orders, garnish and serve drinks, collect payment, and operate POS
  • Maintain a clean work area by cleaning up after guests, removing empty bottles and trash, replacing empty beer kegs, and washing glasses and utensils
  • Monitor and maintain inventory by keeping track of wines, beers, liquors, and ordering bar supplies when required
  • Maintain a safe environment by checking guests' identification, determining when a customer has had too much alcohol, and ensuring a safe ride home is arranged

Requirements:

  • High-School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of Bartending experience
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
