Job Summary:
The Night Supervisor is a key member of our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited, responsible for overseeing the night shift operations at our Food Store. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve shared objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct night shift staff to ensure efficient and effective operations, including merchandising, stocking, customer service, and housekeeping.
- Oversee warehousing protocols and inventory management to ensure accurate and timely stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with food handling regulations, safety protocols, and sanitation standards.
- Provide training and coaching to staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with the Grocery Manager to develop and implement operational strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent education.
- 1-2 years' experience in a retail or customer service environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Ability to lift 50lbs or greater.
- Desire to lead a team and develop managerial skills.
