About the Role

The Relationship Banker II role is a key position in our Banking Center team. As a Relationship Banker II, you will provide services to our customers and assist the team in achieving sales, service, and operation goals. You will process customer-related financial transactions in accordance with bank rules, regulations, and guidelines.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Responding to customers' needs in an accurate and timely fashion, capitalizing on available resources and tools.
  • Evaluating customers' needs and offering appropriate financial products and services through needs-based conversations to build and deepen relationships.
  • Performing routine teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, loan payments, and other transactions as needed.
  • Supporting segmentation strategy by implementing sales, retention, and other bank initiatives to execute Banking Center growth and profitability objectives.
  • Meeting/exceeding individual and team goals in sales, service, and operations.
  • Maintaining compliance with Federal and State regulations as well as bank policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with supervision of banking center colleagues, offering coaching support to fellow bankers, and acting as a role model to help onboard new bankers.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A high school diploma/GED, with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of customer sales/service experience, with 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • A working knowledge of all products and services.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to support teamwork, creating a positive working environment.
  • The ability to work a flexible and/or rotating schedule, including Saturdays, Sundays, and extended hours, with possible travel to alternate Banking Centers.
