About the Role

Our Recovery & Restructuring team is a diverse group of professionals dedicated to assisting lenders and debtors navigate challenging financial situations. As a trusted advisor, you'll help clients navigate through times of financial distress, providing strategic, operational, and financial guidance to achieve stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver corporate insolvency services, identifying strategic, operational, and financial challenges, and recommending immediate stabilizing activities.
  • Assist with data analysis, review of accounting records, and development of financial models.
  • Participate in and assist with the administration of insolvency appointments, including bankruptcies, proposals, receiverships, CCAAs, and liquidations.
  • Develop relationships within the insolvency community and assist with preparing and reviewing relevant statutory documentation.
  • Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to stakeholders and ensure their needs are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is considered an asset.
  • Working towards a Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) designation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Ascend insolvency software is considered an asset.
  • 1-5 years of insolvency experience; professional services experience outside of insolvency will also be considered.
