We are seeking two family physicians or internists to join our Hospitalist group at Brandon Regional Health Centre. The successful candidates will be responsible for caring for patients requiring inpatient admission who do not have a physician with admitting privileges.
About the RoleAs a Hospitalist, you will manage all care, including work-up, referrals, planning discharge, and liaising with community primary care providers. You will work in a dynamic environment with a moderate-volume ER and a 10-bed ICU, providing care to medical and surgical patients.
About the FacilityBrandon Regional Health Centre is a fully accredited multi-specialty facility with a $110 million dollar expansion underway. We offer a wide range of medical programs, including Dialysis, Chemotherapy, Neurology, and Cardiology. Our facility is also a satellite campus for the University of Manitoba and the Rady Faculty of Medicine, providing opportunities for teaching and mentoring.
About the CommunityBrandon is the second-largest city in Manitoba, with a population of 55,000 and growing. Our community offers a wide range of education options, including Assiniboine Community College and Robertson College. We also have a vibrant volunteer base and a variety of recreational opportunities, including Riding Mountain National Park and the International Peace Gardens.
