We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Whole Foods Market. Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Develop and maintain creative store layouts and product merchandising, working closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
- Analysis and Reporting: Assist the Store Manager in analyzing sales reports, labor data, and other key performance indicators to inform business decisions.
- Team Leadership: Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel Team Members to sustain a high-performance team and minimize turnover.
- Customer Service: Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, directing Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.
- Inventory Management: Assist the Store Manager with ordering and inventory management, ensuring accurate and efficient stock levels.
- Regulatory Compliance: Communicate and maintain Team Member safety and security standards, ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.
- Performance Evaluations: Provide timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations to Team Members.
- Experience: 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
- Skills: High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products, core values, and company philosophy. Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory. Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds. In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours, sitting 1-4 hours. Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling. Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching.
