Laundry Services Supervisor

Service New Brunswick is seeking a skilled Laundry Services Supervisor to join the Laundry and Linen Services branch within the Health Services Division in Saint John.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and communicate work procedures and policies to employees.
  • Arrange replacements for employee absences, including vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
  • Conduct audits and evaluate production methods to ensure quality standards and production quotas are met.
  • Monitor and maintain records of employees' work hours, overtime, and related information.
  • Prepare and submit payroll data.
  • Participate in performance appraisals and interview process.
  • Communicate with other departments, facilities, customers, and management to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve problems.
  • Order, store, and maintain inventory.
  • Ensure employees have orientation and training.
  • Possess knowledge and practical work experience in the use of Windows software (Word, Outlook).
  • Possess written and spoken competence in English.
Requirements:
  • Rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights.
  • Working weekends and Statutory Holidays.
  • Resumes should be in chronological order, specifying education and employment in months and years, including part-time and full-time employment.
  • Hourly Rate: $25.52 – Canadian Union of Public Employees – Local 1251.
