Job Summary:

Ontario Aboriginal Housing Support Services is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our organization's computer systems, networks, and software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for laptop computers, printers, internet access, and computer software
  • Assist with training for both hardware and software applications, including orientation for new users
  • Configure new equipment and cell phones, and maintain inventory
  • First level response for the organization's ticketing system
  • Assist with completing installations, maintenance, and updating of desktop, laptop, mobile devices, and printers

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology, or related programs
  • Certifications or licenses appropriate to the industry
  • Knowledge of Windows 10 & 11 operating systems
  • Basic knowledge of networking systems
  • Use and knowledge of Android OS (cell phones)
  • Knowledge in Azure/Entra ID would be an asset
  • Familiarity with various programming languages and development platforms is an asset
  • Knowledge in Office 365, Teams, Share Point, and other cloud-based applications
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues professionally and effectively
  • Current, valid Ontario Driver's License and safe driving record
