Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Construction Cost Estimator to join our team at 911 Construction. This is a permanent position that requires a strong background in estimating and quantity surveying.

Work Environment

  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in a relevant field
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labor and material costs for various construction projects.
  • Assess general expenses and overheads to provide comprehensive financial insights.
  • Project cash flow and financing requirements to ensure budget adherence.
  • Create and submit detailed estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms.
  • Utilize quantity take-off procedures for accurate measurements.
  • Advise on tendering processes and monitor contract expenditures.
  • Maintain a directory of suppliers and trade contractors for project needs.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to adjust cost estimates as necessary.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in estimating and take-off software.
  • Familiarity with scheduling and database management tools.
  • Strong skills in MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Experience with SAP modules (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD).
Project Experience
  • Experience in estimating for civil, commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential construction projects.
  • Familiarity with project sizes ranging from $0 to over $8 million.
