Job Summary

GILL ONWARD ENTERPRISES INC. is seeking a skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in financial accounting or related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in financial software and systems.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure to meet financial reporting deadlines.
