Consumer Insolvency Estate Manager

As a trusted advisor, you'll play a vital role in our Consumer Insolvency team, assisting individuals in overcoming financial distress and regaining control of their finances. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver consumer insolvency services, ensuring high-quality outcomes for debtors.
  • Administer formal insolvency appointments, including bankruptcies and proposals, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Develop relationships with referral sources, including credit counsellors, debt counsellors, lawyers, and accountants, to drive business growth.
  • Prepare and review relevant BIA documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to debtors, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain high-quality control, applying specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify, and address key risks and issues.
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes, driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain flexibility to travel periodically, as necessary, to support business needs.
Requirements
  • Completion of the Insolvency Administration course and/or BIA Insolvency Counselor course, or willingness to work toward same depending on experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of insolvency experience; professional services experience outside of insolvency will also be considered.
