We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Sushi Raku Japanese Cuisine. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality Japanese dishes to our exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our menu and quality control standards.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain our kitchen operations.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and train junior cooks and kitchen staff to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
