Role Description:
Arcadis is seeking a Climate Adaptation Solutions Director to join our team in Canada. Climate adaptation is a key area of focus for Arcadis, and we are recognized as an industry leader in this field. Our goal is to ensure that our communities continue to thrive in the face of climate uncertainty by providing comprehensive climate adaptation measures across the life cycle of any asset.
Our core disciplines include climate risk and mitigation/adaptation planning, design and engineering of integrated flood resilience solutions, hydraulic design and construction, dams and river basins, resilient ports and waterways, and more. We provide integrated solutions that prioritize safety, economic, and environmental progress.
This is a senior, market-facing leadership position within our Resilience Global Business Area. The Climate Adaptation Solutions Director will partner with sector, account, and sales leaders to drive profitable growth in climate adaptation in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver compelling future-focused offerings to our clients, leveraging Arcadis' leading technical solutions.
- Lead and motivate by influence, with a strong business acumen and understanding of P&L and professional services business fundamentals.
- Collaborate with the client development team to execute on our Resilience Climate Adaptation go-to-market strategy.
- Work with account and project teams to deliver an unparalleled client experience, with a focus on sound service delivery.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' needs, assess the position of our competitors, and develop industry-leading insights to drive the development of differentiated value-added technical solution strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 10+ years of industry-leading consulting experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or Planning.
- Masters Degree considered an asset.
