Job Summary:The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and collecting and screening applicants. The successful candidate will also advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment, review candidate inventories, and contact potential applicants to arrange interviews.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify current and prospective staffing requirements and develop strategies to meet them.
- Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
- Collect and screen applicants, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Review candidate inventories and make recommendations for selection.
- Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and assessments.
- Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions.
- Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
- Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers.
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures.
- Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures.
- Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process.
- Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training.
- Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
The Human Resources Officer will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The successful candidate will require excellent attention to detail, accurate, and efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, flexibility, judgement, and reliability.
Requirements:- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in human resources or a related field.
- Dental plan, health care plan, and permanent employment.
- 35 to 40 hours per week, English language, and Anglais as the primary language of work.
