About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Technician to join our team at Maxim Truck and Trailer. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our fleet of trucks and trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in truck and trailer systems.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform repairs and maintenance on truck and trailer systems, including adjustments, replacements, and upgrades.
  • Complete Reports and Records: Accurately document all work performed, including problems encountered and solutions implemented.
  • Collaborate with Supervisors: Work closely with supervisors to determine the best course of action for repairs and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Possess a Registered Apprenticeship certificate and a Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy duty truck and trailer maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift heavy equipment.
