Sales Development Representative

Join our team of innovators and leaders at Blackline Safety, a world leader in the development and manufacturing of wirelessly connected safety products. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a pivotal role in our sales team by generating and qualifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively identify and research potential clients through various channels, including social media, networking events, and industry research.
- Initiate contact with potential clients via phone calls, emails, and social media to introduce our products and services.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of industry standards for gas detection and our lone worker and gas competitors, including their products and how they work.
- Engage with prospects to understand their business needs and qualify leads based on predefined criteria.
- Schedule meetings or demos between leads/prospects and the sales team to further discuss how our solutions can address their needs.
- Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and progress within our CRM system into the pipeline.
- Monitor lead/prospect metrics, conversions, and other sales-related data.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and share insights on market trends and customer needs.
- Provide regular updates on lead generation activities and progress to management.
- At least 1 year of experience in a sales or lead generation role, preferably in the Safety and Gas Detection Industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence potential clients.
- Proficiency with CRM software, preferably HubSpot, Microsoft Office Suite, and researching tools like ZoomInfo.
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles and achieving targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent in relevant experience.
- Fluency in English, Portuguese, and/or Spanish.
