Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Pet Valu. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for coaching and developing your team to deliver exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of employees to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Manage store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store maintenance
  • Collaborate with the store manager to achieve business objectives and goals
  • Provide coaching and feedback to employees to improve performance and achieve career goals
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in the pet care industry
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively
