Job Title: Regional Health Director, Western Canada

At HDR, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Health Director to lead our health sector team in Western Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for guiding the overall direction of the health sector in Western Canada and contributing to the growth and development of our health architecture practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health Sector Goals: Work closely with global sector and local office leadership to ensure the health sector is meeting business objectives from a local, regional, and national perspective.
  • Grow Local Health Sector Team: In concert with operational leadership, grow a well-balanced, multi-disciplinary team, assess capabilities of staffing resources, and develop expertise in health design.
  • Build Client Relationships: Develop strong client relationships and serve as a key client relationship manager on projects.
  • Demonstrate Local Leadership: Participate as a health thought leader in professional organizations, activities, and services throughout Western Canada.
  • Represent and Advance the Firm: Increase awareness and understanding within the community of the firm's health practice on a local, regional, and national basis.
  • Business Development and Marketing: Execute premarketing and positioning strategies necessary for success, identify, qualify, and develop business leads, and lead strategic project pursuit teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering, planning, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
  • Maintain professional registration.
  • Experienced in development and management of strategic marketing programs for planning and/or engineering services.
  • Experienced in development and management of a wide range of client relationships and specific program and/or project pursuits.
  • Experienced in overall staff development, including recruiting, career path, and professional growth.
  • Experienced with industry associations and maintains a visible profile in the market sector.
