Job Title: Regional Health Director, Western Canada

At HDR, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Health Director to lead our healthcare team in Western Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for guiding the overall direction of our health sector in Western Canada and contributing to our global healthcare design practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to grow and develop the health architecture practice in Western Canada, with a primary focus in British Columbia.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and serve as a key client relationship manager on projects.
  • Lead and oversee the analysis of requests for proposals (RFP) and lead the development of written proposal responses.
  • Develop and execute targeted market and client strategies to drive business growth and development.
  • Collaborate with global market sector, principals, design and operational leaders to formulate and implement marketing initiatives.
  • Represent and advance the firm's health practice on a local, regional, and national basis.
Requirements:
  • Registered Architect with the AIBC (or eligible for registration via reciprocity agreements between associations).
  • 15 years of professional experience in A/E/C industry, with at least two years of management experience.
  • Advanced credentials desired (LEED, EDAC, WELL AP etc.).
  • Knowledge and experience within the local and regional health market.
  • Forward-thinking with big-picture mentality.
  • Experience successfully developing and executing targeted market and client strategies.
  • Capable of leading a health team and making client presentations.
  • Business development experience in health design industry.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willing to travel (domestic and international).

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.
