Culinary Supervisor Job Description

Guru Nanak Bakery is seeking a skilled Culinary Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our kitchen.
  • Supervise Kitchen Staff: Train and supervise a team of 3-4 staff members to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food meets our high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory levels.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on kitchen operations and performance.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Basic security clearance, client focus, flexibility, team player, and ability to work under pressure.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. They will be required to maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail at all times.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week.
