Job Title: Senior Vice President, Asset Management

AECOM Water is seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to lead our Major Projects and Programs in Canada Region. As a Senior Vice President, Asset Management, you will be responsible for planning and directing the successful delivery of Major Projects and Programs, providing operational, project delivery, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Director of Operations and Regional Business Line Leader to identify, develop, and implement objectives, set up KPIs, guidelines, and targets for Water Canada's Major Projects and Programs.
  • Provide a broad business perspective and be a constructive participant in the overall management of the Business Line.
  • Work with Major Project and Program Managers to identify, establish, and implement execution strategies to maximize Project and Program outcomes: Safety, Quality, Customer Satisfaction, Staff Development, Profitability, and Cash Flow.
  • Provide guidance, direction, and support to Major Project and Program Managers on the performance of their duties.
  • Ensure that workshare, including the deployment of Enterprise Capability resources, is effectively deployed on Water Canada's Major Projects and Programs.
  • Oversee financial tools necessary to monitor anticipated and actual project and program delivery results; identify opportunities, concerns, and projections, and work proactively with Major Project and Program Managers to mitigate risks on their Projects and Programs.
  • Partner with Finance to monitor Major Project and Program delivery performance toward ensuring that financial goals and operational excellence are achieved.
  • Represent the Business Line through attendance at key industry and community events.
  • Support and drive corporate and Business Line initiatives and policies.
  • Ensure corporate and Business Line compliance with H&S, Ethics, etc.
Requirements:
  • No less than a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Planning, or related field and 12 years of relevant experience in the Design and Building industry, including 4 years of leadership experience.
  • 15 years of increased supervisory, management, and operational/financial experience.
  • Experience in the Water and Power industry an asset.
  • Proven delivery as Project Manager on large complex projects.
  • Proven record of delivering work, managing teams, and development of a collaborative practice.
