Job Title: Landscape Construction Foreperson

At Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Landscape Construction Foreperson to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and motivating a crew to complete a variety of landscaping and construction tasks. This includes setting the pace, working with crew leaders, and ensuring the completion of tasks such as operating heavy equipment, planting, pruning, and minor concrete work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and motivate a crew to complete landscaping and construction tasks
  • Set the pace and work with crew leaders to ensure task completion
  • Operate heavy equipment, including dump trucks, trailers, and powered equipment
  • Plant, prune, and maintain landscaping features
  • Perform minor concrete work and repairs
  • Interact with customers to troubleshoot and solve landscape problems
  • Provide on-the-job training and enforce regulations related to Health & Safety and operating equipment
  • Delegate tasks to crew members to ensure high-quality work on time and within budget
Requirements:
  • Experience working with heavy equipment and supervising a crew
  • Ability to interact with customers and resolve landscape problems
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and jobs
  • Valid class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record
Qualifications:
  • College horticulture school diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years of Team Leader experience in the construction sector of the landscaping industry
Physical Demands/Work Environment:

The successful candidate must be able to lift or move a minimum of twenty-five pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions, including rain, heat, and cold.

Compensation:

Hourly wage range $25-$35 per hour, plus benefits and overtime opportunities.
