About the Role

As a 3D modeling expert within our Equipment Design Engineering team, you will play a vital role in creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for manufacturing processes. Your expertise will directly contribute to the development and production of high-quality equipment.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Develop engineering drawings from initial concepts and sketches, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
  • Utilize advanced CAD software, such as Autodesk Inventor, to create precise 3D models that meet design specifications.
  • Generate comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) lists for each project, facilitating efficient procurement and production.
  • Produce detailed documentation packages, including assembly instructions and technical specifications, for seamless manufacturing processes.
  • Interpret complex CAD engineering drawings and specifications, demonstrating a strong understanding of technical details.
  • Respond promptly to production issues, providing timely solutions and support to resolve any challenges.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines consistently.
  • Conduct thorough peer reviews and quality checks on designs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
  • Inspect units on the production floor, verifying the accuracy of manufactured components and identifying potential areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Possess a college diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • Have 3+ years of proven experience working with Autodesk Inventor software.
  • Demonstrate expertise in HVAC or mechanical equipment design, showcasing a strong understanding of relevant principles and practices.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational and communication skills, ensuring clear and concise collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Maintain a passion for continuous learning and skill development, staying abreast of industry advancements and best practices.
