Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to oversee our kitchen operations at 0737777 BC Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and management, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes, catering to diverse dietary needs.
  • Specialized Cooking: Create and prepare special meals as directed by nutritionists or head chefs.
  • Kitchen Inspection: Regularly inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
  • Supply Management: Order necessary supplies and kitchen equipment to ensure smooth operations.
  • Supervision: Oversee kitchen staff and assist in their development and performance.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment inventory.
  • Sanitation: Ensure the kitchen and work areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Recruitment: Participate in the hiring process for kitchen staff.
  • Event Management: Organize and manage buffets and banquets as required.
  • Operational Management: Manage daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years and up to 3 years of relevant experience in a culinary role.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
