We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Cora Breakfast and Lunch. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the high standards of Cora Breakfast and Lunch.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Team Collaboration: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen environment.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization, and clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and food quality.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and maintain a high level of physical activity throughout the shift.
