The Inventory Lead plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores by overseeing the efficient movement of inventory. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, processing shipments, and replenishing stockrooms. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, process shipments, and conduct regular stockroom audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Stockroom Operations: Oversee the daily replenishment of stockrooms, ensuring that merchandise is properly stored and easily accessible.
- Shipping and Receiving: Execute the daily pick and pack process to fulfill online orders, and ensure that all necessary supplies are on hand.
- Markdowns and Transfers: Periodically adjust ticketed prices for selected merchandise and prepare stock for transfer to other stores.
- Receiving and Stock Areas: Maintain the receiving and stock areas, ensuring that they are organized and free of clutter.
- Supporting Operational Activities: Assist with operational activities such as cashier duties and other POS tasks as needed.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail environment.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift approximately 20-50 lbs of product/boxes.
