About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at CHUBBS. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Administrative and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • 3-4 people to supervise
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
