As a dynamic and forward-thinking organization, we are seeking a Senior Municipal Solutions Account Executive to spearhead the growth of our food waste diversion initiatives within municipal sectors across Canada. This role is pivotal in enhancing our partnerships with municipal governments and driving the adoption of our innovative solutions.
Reporting directly to the Director of Municipal Solutions, the Senior Account Executive will be instrumental in fostering relationships with key municipal stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Collaborate with existing municipal partners to create and implement customized food waste diversion programs utilizing our advanced technology.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with essential stakeholders in municipal governments, ensuring alignment with their waste management objectives.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to uncover new opportunities for program expansion and develop strategic sales initiatives to penetrate municipal markets effectively.
- Project Coordination: Oversee cross-functional collaboration to guarantee smooth program execution and successful project outcomes.
- Technical Advocacy: Showcase a comprehensive understanding of waste management technologies and sustainability practices, advocating for our solutions as integral to municipal waste reduction strategies.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate program performance metrics, providing regular updates to stakeholders and identifying areas for improvement.
- A degree or diploma in Business, Environmental Studies, or a related field, with equivalent experience considered.
- A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in account management, sales, or municipal government relations.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to diverse audiences.
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects while adhering to timelines and budgets.
