Tax Manager

KPMG in Canada is seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team. As a key member of our tax practice, you will work closely with clients to provide tax planning and compliance services. Your expertise will enable you to lead client engagements, work with partners on tax planning initiatives, and direct the work of junior staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client engagements and develop tax planning strategies for Canadian Corporate clients.
- Work closely with partners to deliver tax planning services and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Direct the work of junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct tax research and prepare tax returns, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with other office members to attract new work and grow the firm's tax practice.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax, preferably in a public accounting firm.
- Professional accounting designation and completion of the CPA In-Depth tax course.
- Excellent people management skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands.
- Excellent client service skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding client expectations.
