Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team at Port Coquitlam Towing Services Ltd. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tow truck to transport vehicles and equipment, while providing excellent customer service and ensuring the highest level of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operations
    • Operate a tow truck to transport vehicles and equipment to various locations
    • Ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and perform routine maintenance tasks
    • Load and unload vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide solutions
  • Safety and Security
    • Ensure the safety and security of clients' vehicles and equipment during transportation
    • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Perform administrative tasks, such as logging and reporting, to ensure accurate records and compliance with regulations
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles)
    • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and bending
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
Work Environment

The Tow Truck Driver will work in a fast-paced environment, often in inclement weather conditions. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and safety.
