Job Title: Tow Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team at Port Coquitlam Towing Services Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a tow truck to transport vehicles safely and efficiently. This is a permanent position requiring 32 hours of work per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Coach colleagues on new methods and work techniques
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform brake adjustments and preventive maintenance
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
Requirements:
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Work Environment:

This is a physically demanding role that requires handling heavy loads, working in a large workload environment, and performing repetitive tasks. Overtime may be required.
