The Electric Generation department is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Coordinator. In this position, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing maintenance planning activities, ensuring they are executed safely, sustainably, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your technical expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation trades to enhance maintenance processes.
  • Implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability.
  • Develop comprehensive work plans for both routine and non-routine maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and technical drawings to facilitate effective maintenance planning.
  • Leverage your proficiency in CMMS and MS Office Suite to manage maintenance data and documentation.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various projects simultaneously.
  • Prepare detailed job packages from maintenance requests, ensuring clarity and quality in execution.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members to achieve maintenance goals.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Journeyman Trades Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in maintenance planning within an industrial setting, preferably in power generation.
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 Alberta Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Consideration will be given to equivalent combinations of training and experience.
