Patricia Lake Bungalows is seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Worker to ensure the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for our guests.
Qualifications- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset.
The position is set in a hospitality setting, specifically within a hotel, motel, or resort.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct adjustments and minor repairs on heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, while coordinating with tradespersons for larger repairs.
- Perform minor appliance repairs as needed.
- Execute safety and security inspections regularly.
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including painting and drywall repairs.
- Water and care for plants, lawns, and gardens.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
This role is physically demanding and requires:
- Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
